RETN eventually commences expansion from Europe towards Ural and Siberia. At present time the network passes through Samara, Ufa, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, Omsk and has reached Novosibirsk.

RETN has completed the modernization of its backbone network in the Western Hemisphere.  As a result, a new line Los Angeles – Tokyo has been launched.  The new line has doubled and protected the capacity through the Pacific Ocean. The RETN network`s bandwidth in the USA has also increased more than twice.

RETN has launched a new DWDM line with a length of 331 km on the direction Warsaw – Hrodna (Belarus). The new line has been built with the help of Infinera DTN ILS2. The total length of RETN`s DWDM network has increased up to 22000 km.

RETN has launched a new DWDM along South Ukraine on the direction Zaporozhia – Nikolaev
– Odessa – Kiev. The length of the new DWDM line is 1400 km, the starting bandwidth is 100 Gbps.
